sick sick sicko
10/24/09… maybe it’s not the swine flu but i’ve been sick for like, oh, five weeks?! I got the flu and then just as I was getting over it, i got it again. so, this is the fifth week i’ve been coughing, feverish, tired but can’t sleep. i HATE being sick.
i’ve been working through the symptoms. painting, painting, painting. at least that makes me feel better.

I’ve been trying to get to a project-a-night, (the bookmarks were for two nights) and so far it seems to be going pretty well. Last night’s was assembling postcards out of cast off and scrap materials.
I got a box of vintage photos from an estate sale and didn’t know what I could do with so many! Then I got a boatload of index cards from value center (blue seen here). The other scraps are shell wallpaper from the 20s, pink vellum envelope I cut up, a brown paper bag, and blue forget-me-nots from some die cuts.
now I get to see how many I can make tonight!
